Giménez’s enigmatic message

José María Giménez published this Friday, on his ‘Instagram’ account, a photo with the fans at the Metropolitan stadium and with a song in the background with the lyrics: “I would like not to say goodbye, but I must go“.

In the snapshot, the center back and one of the captains of the red and white team raises his arms in celebration of a goal in front of the stands full of fans, while the song ‘It’s not my farewell’ by Natalia Oreiro plays.

In the excerpt published by the defender on ‘Instagram’, the following part of the song’s lyrics is heard: “I would like not to say goodbye, but I must go. Don’t cry, please don’t cry, because you’re going to kill me“.

Giménez faces Celta with his team this Saturday at the Metropolitan stadium, although there will still be three more games left, two away (against Osasuna and Villarreal) and one at home (against Girona) for the end of the season.
