This Saturday the fourth series of the Xacobeo 2026 Trophy for the 6 Meters and J/80 classes, with the provisional leadership after the first day for the ‘Titia’, by Mauricio Sánchez-Bella, in the 6 Meter category, and for the ‘Cactus Digital-Petrilla’, by Jaime Barreiro, in the J/80 class.
The 6 Meter fleet, which had King Juan Carlos as patron and rod of the ‘Bribon’, He competed in a coastal route of approximately nine miles along the Pontevedra estuary. The current runner-up in the world, ‘Titia’, won the test ahead of ‘Bribon’ and ‘Alibaba II’, skippered on this occasion by Miguel Riveiro from Vigo.
For its part, The J/80 fleet completed three windward-leeward course tests. After this first day, the leadership is in the hands of ‘Cactus Digital-Petrilla’, from the Portonovo Yacht Club. The second provisional position goes to the “Moura”, owned by Rosa María Gundín, representative of the Marina Coruña Nautical Club, while the third place is occupied by the ‘One’, from the Real Club Náutico de Sanxenxo, skippered by Adrián Domínguez.
