The top category will open the course on August 16 with the first day, although teams with a significant number of players in the semifinals or final of the World Cup will do so on the 25th, 26th or 27th of the same month – with applications also on the 18th, 19th or 20th -. The championship will end on May 30, the date scheduled for matchday 38.
Second Division
The tournament will also begin the weekend of August 15-16. The regular phase will conclude on June 6 with matchday 42, giving way to the promotion playoffs, scheduled between June 9 and 20.
Copa del Rey Mapfre
The cup road will start with the territorial phase, whose departure is scheduled for September 26 and the return on October 3. In order, the first national eliminatory will be on October 28, the second on December 2, the round of 32 on December 16, the round of 16 on January 6, the quarterfinals on January 13 and the semifinals, in two games: February 10 and March 3. The final of the Copa del Rey MAPFRE is set for April 24.
Spanish Super Cup
The first major men’s national title of the year delays its usual date – January – and will be held in February, specifically on the 2nd, the day of the first semifinal. Like the rest of the tournament, the title will be decided in a single match on Sunday, February 7.
First Federation
The competition will raise the curtain between August 29 and 30. The regular phase will end on May 23; and the promotion playoffs will begin on May 30 and will last until June 20.
Second Federation
The Second Federation will begin its season already in the month of September (5-6). The regular phase will conclude on May 9, while the promotion promotion will be played between May 16 and June 6.
Federation Cup
The Federation Cup will be one of the first competitions to decide the title. The national phase will start on September 9 with the round of 32. The round of 16 will be played on September 16, the quarterfinals on September 30, the semifinals on October 14 and the final will take place on November 14.
European competitions
The continental calendar will start with the European Super Cup, scheduled for August 12. The UEFA Champions League will begin its league phase on September 8 and will close the course with the final on June 5 – along the way, eight initial rounds, a playoffs and four two-legged ties. The UEFA Europa League, for its part, will present its first matches on September 16 and will draw its final on May 26. Finally, the UEFA Conference League will open the calendar on August 20 with the first leg of the playoffs – the second leg on the 26th. The league phase will begin on October 15 and the title match will take place on June 2.
Spanish national team
As a novelty, the FIFA period reduces its commitments, but increases the number of days during the same concentration. During the season several international windows appear: from September 21 to October 6, from November 9 to the 17th, from March 22 to the 30th and from June 7 to the 15th of the same month.
