Valencia Basket has made history and sealed its ticket to the Final Four in Athens after beating Panathinaikos 81-64 in the fifth game of the Euroleague playoff quarterfinal series. Furthermore, they have completed a feat to remember, as they were 0-2 down after the first two games of the series at the Roig Arena. After winning the two matches in Greece and this last one this Wednesday in Valencia, the Taronjas become, along with Real Madrid, the only teams to lift a tie in this way: only two teams out of 34 have achieved it.
After the end of the match, euphoria, joy and emotion took over those present in the Valencian pavilion: the players celebrated the classification in a huddle and, later, went to shake hands with their fans, completely unleashed after achieving this feat.
