Jason Plato has launched his first assertion following his departure from Plato Racing, after the British Touring Automotive Championship workforce entered administration on Monday.
Plato’s eponymous outfit entered administration simply days after scoring its maiden BTCC victory at Knockhill, with Adam Morgan and Dan Rowbottom bringing dwelling a 1-2.
On Tuesday, Cataclean and TOCA introduced that the workforce will proceed within the collection for the rest of 2026, although with out Plato himself.
Arafino Advisory Ltd, Plato Racing Ltd’s directors, are hoping for a swift sale whereas Cataclean continues to fund the workforce within the interim.
Plato’s former squad, now CPRL, will compete in Donington Park GP‘s Race 1 ranging from first and second on the grid. The pair of Mercedes A35 Saloons carried out excellently within the Race to Pole, coming dwelling with little risk from these behind for the second assembly in a row.
