The rain has played a trick on the IndyCar. The large amount of water accumulated in the Indianapolis Motor Speedway has made the qualifying session of the Indy GP be delayed until tomorrow.
Today’s day provided for both free sessionswhich were disputed dryly (with Palou leading both) and the classification. But a couple of hours before the ‘qualifying’ the rain -expected- appeared over Indianapolis to soak the track.

Álex Palou will have to wait until tomorrow to know his starting position for the Indy GPAmber Pietz
Although initially It seemed that the classification could be held on wet asphaltIndyCar decided to move it to tomorrow. The meteorological conditions planned for the session – which were going to get worse – the number of stagnant water on the track and the pits and the difficulties flying helicopters were the reasons indicated by the organization for the change of date.
There will, therefore, be a new schedule for the qualifying session (favorable to Palou, which has a lot of pace on a dry track… but I would play the lottery on a wet track). It will be tomorrow saturday at 10:30 Indianapolis time, 16:30 Spanish local time (seven hours before the race). And, theoretically, about dry.
