Luka Doncic, who is absent from the Lakers and has not yet been able to play in the NBA Playoffs, spoke for the first time about the treatment he underwent in Madrid and revealed the reality of his physical state.
“I went to Spain to have a platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatment. Everyone knows that Spain is one of the best countries to do it… I know and trust many people in Spain. I was there for so long because I needed four days between each injection. So I had it done four times. That’s why I stayed longer,” explained the former Real Madrid player.
Regarding whether he could accelerate his recovery to be able to play in the Playoffs with the Lakers, the Slovenian revealed that “I am in the middle of the process, I work every day. I feel better every day. As I said, at the beginning they say it’s eight weeks. So from there we’ll see.”
