Former Arizona Cardinals star Larry Fitzgerald spoke with The Arizona Republic after throwing out the ceremonial first pitch on the Diamondbacks vs. Yankees recreation on Sunday, Sept. 20, at Chase Area.
Fitzgerald, who performed 17 seasons within the NFL — all with the Cardinals — carried out the first-pitch honor on the Diamondbacks’ remaining house recreation of the common season. They have been 44-36 at Chase Area this season getting into house recreation No. 81.

Fitzgerald was inducted into the Professional Soccer Corridor of Fame final month in Canton, Ohio.
