The 2026 NBA Draft, in which Aday Mara was selected with number 12 and Sergio de Larrea with number 24, has closed with the selection of also Spanish Baba Miller (22 years old and 2.11 m.) by the Los Angeles Clippers in the second round, with number 36.
Baba Miller arrived at the Draft after a great season in the NCAA defending the colors of Cincinnati, a university with which he averaged 13 points, 10.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.2 blocks per game, with 52.9% effectiveness in field goals.
The versatile Mallorcan power forward, who came out of the Madrid Olympic District’s youth system to forge himself at Real Madrid at the age of 12, previously played at Florida State and Florida Atlantic.
“My entire career, all the work I have done and all the people who have helped me get here have prepared me for this moment. Now I just want to get to work,” said Miller, who made his debut with the Real Madrid first team at the age of 17 years and 10 months, after being selected in the Draft.

The player selected by the Clippers defines himself as “a very versatile player. Defensively I can defend several positions and provide intensity, and I also feel that my ability to generate play is a very important part of who I am and what I do on the court. I am very excited.”
Baba Miller acknowledges that “I am very happy, but I also understand that this is only the beginning. It costs a lot of sacrifice. My family, my friends have sacrificed a lot for me to be here.”

Baba Miller already impressed draft scouts at the NBA Draft Combine with his unique combination of height, wingspan and skill.
Officially the former Real Madrid player is 2.18 m. wingspan (measured with open arms), 2.82 m. reach (height reached with arms raised), 2.10 m. tall barefoot and weighing 94.4 kilos.

Baba Miller, who has a wingspan of 2.18 m., signed for Real Madrid when he was 12 years old and left the merengue club in 2022 at the end of his junior year.
