After one week of the CIAC boys soccer season, each the Class LL/L and M/S ballot’s have modified considerably.
There are 4 new groups in Class LL/L in No. 7 East Hartford, No. 8 Guilford, No. 9 Bethel and No. 10 Stamford. These 4 have changed Corridor (beforehand ranked No. 3) after it suffered two straight losses to start the season, previously ranked No. 6 Farmington, No. 8 Simsbury and No. 9 Westhill.
Commercial
Class M/S noticed three new groups in No. 5 RHAM, No. 8 Hand and No. 9 Cromwell. Dropping out was former No. 6 Somers, No. 9 Morgan, and No. 10 Outdated Saybrook.
One other shock was the rise of Glastonbury, which jumped from No. 5 to No. 2 after defeating each Middletown and Simsbury final week. The Guardians leaped over Greenwich, which fell one spot to No. 3 regardless of profitable its lone sport final week.
Tolland retained all 9 first-place votes within the Class M/S ballot, whereas Staples added three first-place votes within the LL/L ballot for a complete of 9. The one remaining first-place vote in LL/L went to No. 4 Xavier.
