The mystique of Paris-Roubaix goes beyond its cobblestones or impossible sections, it is also epic, hardness, sweat and tears. Since its first edition, held in the 19th century, ‘El Infierno del Norte’ has not only established itself in the cycling scene, it has also done so throughout the world of sport.
With nearly 260 kilometers, the French classic promises one of the great spectacles of the cycling season: the long-awaited duel between Mathieu van der Poel and Tadej Pogačar in the Hauts-de-France region. All eyes will be on the Slovenian, who aspires to complete his fifth Monument and thus equal legends such as Eddy Merckx, Roger De Vlaeminck and Rick Van Looy. This Sunday, history will be written again at the legendary Roubaix velodrome.
