Aug. 10 (UPI) — The New England Patriots signed tight finish Hunter Henry to a two-year, $16 million contract extension, a league supply instructed UPI on Monday.
Henry’s pact consists of $14.5 million assured. He was coming into the ultimate yr of the three-year, $27 million contract extension he signed in 2024.

Henry, 31, caught 60 passes for 768 yards and a team-high seven scores over 17 begins final season. The ten-year veteran totaled 259 catches for two,973 yards and 26 scores during the last 5 seasons for the Patriots.
He’s to line up alongside vast receivers A.J. Brown, Romeo Doubs and DeMario Douglas as considered one of quarterback Drake Maye’s high targets in 2026.
The Patriots will host the Indianapolis Colts of their preseason opener at 7:30 p.m. EDT Thursday in Foxborough, Mass. They are going to face the Seattle Seahawks of their common season opener — a rematch of Tremendous Bowl XLIX — on Sept. 9 in Seattle.
