Real Madrid celebrates the elections for the club’s presidency this June 7, with Florentino Pérez and Enrique Riquelme as candidates. The members will decide between the continuity of the current management model or an alternative that proposes changes in the club structure and greater participation of the members. Florentino defends his project based on institutional stability, economic strength and recent sporting successes, in addition to the possibility of a high-impact signing that could exceed 150 million euros.
Opposite, Enrique Riquelme proposes a renewal of the club model with greater prominence for members, the creation of a “Member City” and changes in internal management. On a sporting level, he has placed Jürgen Klopp as a key piece of his project and has cited Erling Haaland and Rodri as examples of his ambition.
