It already happened on the previous visit to the Camp Nou during the second leg of the Copa del Rey semi-finals and it happened again on the eve of the Champions League quarter-final tie starting: the Atlético bus was greeted with the throwing of objects that caused two windows to break.
Although on this occasion the incident took place just on the street before Atlético’s arrival at the Camp Nou, the truth is that on both occasions the red and white bus has not been able to access the stadium under the minimum safety conditions, being the victim of a shower of objects that, although it has had no consequences for the expedition members, has caused material damage.
Specifically, the damage is located in the two opposite windows on the driver’s side, which would end up completely broken. An incident that, unfortunately, is not an isolated event, which would increase Atlético’s indignation after having gone through the same scene on their previous visit.
