Celta announced its first signing this Monday, ahead of the 2026-27 season. Aleix Febas signs with the Vigo club until 2029 and arrives with the freedom letter from Elche
At 30 years old, the Catalan footballer has been the undisputed starter this season, playing 37 games in which he totaled 3,256 minutes, scoring 2 goals and giving the same number of assists. He has the approval of Claudio Giráldez who understands that he is a footballer who will add to the Celtic midfield.
The club received Aleix Febas with a statement in which he stated: “At 30 years old, Aleix stands out for his tactical intelligence, his precision in passing and his vision of the game. A profile that fits perfectly into Claudio Giráldez’s plans and that will reinforce the celestial core in a demanding season, with the team’s return to three competitions. Upon his arrival, the player will meet again with Sergio Carreira, Álvaro Núñez and Borja Iglesias, with whom he will once again share a dressing room in this new stage as a sky blue player.”
