Lewandowski and the lawyer based their defense on the fact that these statements “damaged the honor of the lawyer and the reputation of the player.” KucharskiHe also described the former professional Bayern of a “bad person without empathy” and of “believing himself to be a king.” Likewise, he called him a “coward” and “childish” for not wanting to play in the Premier League due to a supposed fear of not standing out.

The sentence forces the representative to assume the costs of the process, pay a fine of about 20,000 euros and donate another 25,000 to a charity. Kucharski announced, however, its intention to appeal the ruling and was willing to continue with its litigation against Lewandowski “for a decade”
