Supporters Invited to Create Human Corridor Along Team’s Route to Stadium
SALT LAKE CITY — University of Utah football will revive its cherished Ute Walk tradition starting this Saturday, September 6, when the Utes welcome Cal Poly for their 2025 season home debut.
Crimson-clad supporters are invited to create an enthusiastic corridor along the team’s procession route, stretching from Guardsman Way to 500 South. The beloved ritual allows fans to cheer on their Utes as players journey from the Spence & Cleone Eccles Football Center to Rice-Eccles Stadium before taking on the Mustangs.
Moving forward through the 2025 campaign, the Ute Walk will commence 2.5 hours before each home game’s opening kickoff, weather permitting. The tradition promises to add extra energy and school spirit to Utah’s gameday atmosphere throughout the upcoming season.
Utah football fans can expect this pre-game celebration to become a regular fixture at Rice-Eccles Stadium, giving the community another opportunity to show their support for the Utes before each home contest.
