The never seen. The open-door training of the Spanish team with which it opens its preparation for the World Cup has exceeded any anticipated calculation. More than 2,000 people have come to La Ciudad del Futbol de Las Rozas to encourage De la Fuente and his team. There is no memory of a training session with so much passion in the stands.
With the session scheduled for eleven in the morning, from shortly after seven there were people queuing to enter. The stifling heat that took over in the morning was no match for the people’s desire to be close to the national team. During training, part of the team’s staff went to the stands to hand out bottles of water.
Once again it was the name of Lamine Yamal that was the most acclaimed. The Barcelona winger did only the first part of the work. When the ball appeared, like Nico Williams and Víctor Muñoz, they retired to put themselves in the hands of the physios.

Total madness broke out around 11:50 a.m. At that moment the players approached the stands to sign autographs. The stands went crazy looking for an autograph, a signed shirt, a photo, a hug…
The first training session started with 30 players: 21 World Cup players and nine support players for the match against Iraq. This morning Pedri Porro joined, tomorrow Yeremy Pino joins, on Tuesday Mikel Merino arrives and on Wednesday the arrivals door closes with Raya, Zubimendi and Fabián Ruiz.
After this tremendous open-door session, the team will work in its Sports City until Thursday morning. Always behind closed doors. On Thursday night, Spain will face Iraq in Riazor and the next day they will travel to the United States.
