The Minnesota Vikings are 6-1 and nonetheless atop the ultra-competitive NFC North. However after each different division rival gained over the weekend, strain to enhance the roster retains mounting.
Loads of hypothesis has surrounded the potential for the Vikings including a quarterback or operating again to enhance an offense that ranks twenty ninth in whole yards coming into Week 9. However Minnesota might as a substitute decide to bolster a line of defense with a number of gifted but inexperienced inside gamers.
One staff that would provide inside line of defense assistance is the s. They’ve misplaced six straight video games and have already traded middle Cam Jurgens, misplaced RT Lane Johnson to retirement, and are coping with Jalen Hurts' e.
May the Eagles then make DT Moro Oromo out there through commerce? And would the Vikings be inquisitive about buying the 25-year-old lineman? SI's Connor Orr believes he may very well be an intriguing addition.
"The Vikings have a wonderful fleet of tackles who do precisely what the scheme asks of them, however Ojomo would add a pass-rushing taste and diversify the array of strain appears to be like Flores’s protection throws," Orr ok. "It’s important for the Vikings so as to add a showstopping piece because the offense continues to lag. Flores is essentially the most studied coordinator within the league proper now and with out an evolution midseason, the Vikings might danger dropping their largest benefit. Ojomo is sixteenth within the NFL in pass-rush win price amongst defensive tackles proper now."
Per PFF, Ojomo is tied for first amongst Eagles defenders with 18 pressures. Though he doesn't have any sacks, he gathered six final season whereas producing 54 pressures, the second-most on the staff.
Ojomo would convey pass-rushing prowess to a protection identified for unique blitzes. He might assist provide a change-up the place he may cause havoc with out all the time needing to design additional stunts to create these pressures.
Offense nonetheless looks like a extra urgent want for this staff, however there’s something to be stated for making the energy of the staff even stronger. Maybe Ojomo gives that choice.
