Whereas Mehringer was fired, the Oregon teaching employees continues to be trying to find what the disconnect has been, even in search of outdoors views.
“Yeah, in some methods, it is one thing we have completed too,” Lanning stated when requested about welcoming outdoors eyes on his group. “It is simply not one thing that you simply guys would essentially find out about. The wonderful thing about as we speak’s know-how is there’s the flexibility to Zoom, consider movie from a distance, proper? Put totally different eyes and views on among the stuff that we have completed.”
Prior to now, Lanning has talked about collaborating with different coaches throughout the offseason on how they run their applications, name-dropping Clemson’s Dabo Swinney. Lanning additionally visited a Seattle Seahawks apply throughout Oregon’s bye week. Coming from Alabama’s employees below Nick Saban, there is no doubt that Lanning has a radical contact record to select from if he needs different coaches to check out his group.
