We're coming into our first large bye week in Week 6 with the Bengals, Vikings, Lions and Dolphins not enjoying. Which means there ought to be extra exercise on the waiver wire in your fantasy soccer leagues. When you're in search of damage replacements or some depth to resist the potential gamers on bye, we're right here to supply some choices off the wire.
Let's get into it.
Contents
Woody Marks, RB, Texans (53% rostered on Yahoo)
Often, we reserve waiver wire provides for gamers who’re sub-50% rostered on Yahoo. We're keen to make an exception with Marks, who isn't far off that mark. Houston misplaced RB David Montgomery to a groin damage in its win over the Titans on Sunday. Marks had already been slowly consuming into Montgomery's backfield share over the previous few weeks. This may very well be the nail within the coffin for Monty because the lead RB in Houston.
Marks rushed for 62 yards on 15 carries whereas additionally including 4 catches for 23 yards to complete with 10.5 fantasy factors. It wasn't the kind of recreation you need in a 26-3 win from Marks however the quantity is clearly there. Aside from Montgomery, Marks was the one RB to get a contact for Houston in Week 5.
If Monty is sidelined subsequent week in London towards the Jaguars, Marks is an efficient RB3/flex play with RB2 upside contemplating he'll command many of the touches out of the backfield.
Germie Bernard, WR, Steelers (1% rostered)
Pittsburgh's offense has been one of many many surprises up to now in 2026. Aaron Rodgers appears rejuvenated and the Steelers simply dropped 34 factors on the Colts in Week 5. Roman Wilson was a classy pickup-and-play for Sunday with Michael Pittman Jr. sidelined. Sadly, Wilson was compelled to exit early with a hand/wrist damage and didn’t return.
With Wilson out, the goal tree condensed much more and that helped the rookie Bernard carve out an even bigger function. DK Metcalf was quiet however Bernard completed with a 6-80-0 line on 9 targets. If Wilson is now sidelined together with Pittman, Bernard ought to see extra snaps and targets from Rodgers. He's a powerful add in deeper PPR codecs when you want some WR depth. TE Pat Freiermuth (15%) can also be price a point out (5-44-2) after posting a possible TE1 end in Week 5 with 19 fantasy factors.
Brenton Unusual, TE, Jaguars (32% rostered)
The Jaguars pulled off a miracle win over the Eagles in London to start out the Sunday slate. QB Trevor Lawrence was busy throwing the ball and Unusual had one other stable outing with seven catches on eight targets for 68 yards. It was the second straight week the tight finish received to eight targets, greater than he had mixed via the primary three video games. There's been loads of jockeying within the receiver ranks for Jacksonville; six gamers had a number of catches towards Philly. However Unusual is popping right into a dependable TE2 possibility with upside if he begins to seek out the tip zone. He's a good streamer this week with 4 groups on bye.
