For all intents and functions, the s' dream of successful the Tremendous Bowl is unquestionably nonetheless on the desk. However in the meanwhile, they must sadly climate n.
Jackson needed to depart Week 4's win over the Tennessee Titans early with the damage. As it will later prove, the Ravens revealed he had an ankle sprain y. That's the excellent news. The dangerous information is that Jackson will miss, at minimal, Sunday night time's street primetime matchup with the s. Given how good the Falcons have appeared currently, it could be robust sledding for the Ravens to win with out their finest participant.
Nevertheless, I'm certain the Ravens will take that deal 10 instances out of 10 if it means Jackson will return to the beginning lineup very quickly:
As for when Jackson may come again, the Ravens have characterised his damage as week-to-week. Meaning, theoretically, we may see him in Week 6 when Baltimore visits one in all its AFC North rivals, the s. That will give Jackson roughly two weeks of relaxation for his ankle. If the Ravens elect to be a bit extra cautious with Jackson, a house sport towards one other AFC North group, the s, feels extra possible.
I extremely doubt Jackson's absence extends any additional and would enterprise to guess that the Ravens might be able to have him again for these two upcoming essential divisional video games, barring a setback in his restoration.
Who’s Lamar Jackson's backup on the Ravens?
Tyler Huntley is Jackson's backup, as listed on the Ravens' official depth chart. He has offered spot begins through the years because the Ravens' backup quarterback for many of the Jackson period.
