The tenth version of the Girls’s Asia Cup begins in Dubai on Friday, with eight groups competing within the T20I format. The match will run till September 13, with all 15 matches to be performed in Dubai.
The eight groups have been divided into two teams. India, Pakistan, Thailand and Hong Kong are in Group A, whereas defending champions Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, the UAE and Indonesia make up Group B.
The highest two groups from every group will qualify for the semi-finals. The 2 semi-finals can be performed on September 10 and 11, adopted by the ultimate on September 13.
Sri Lanka will attempt to defend the title they received in 2024, whereas India will look to regain the trophy. Pakistan and Bangladesh are the opposite two Full Members within the match, whereas Thailand, Hong Kong, the UAE and Indonesia are the 4 Affiliate groups.

The match will characteristic one match day by day through the group stage, which can proceed till September 8. There can be 12 group-stage matches, adopted by two semi-finals and the ultimate.

How did the Affiliate groups qualify?
Indonesia, Hong Kong, Thailand and the UAE earned their locations within the Asia Cup via the 2026 Girls’s Premier Cup.
The Premier Cup featured 18 groups. All 4 certified groups topped their respective teams after which received their quarter-finals to safe a spot within the Asia Cup.
For Indonesia, this can be their first look within the Asia Cup. Hong Kong, in the meantime, will return to the match for the primary time since 2012.
India-Pakistan conflict on September 5
India and Pakistan will meet on September 5 in what is predicted to be the principle group-stage match.
