The Los Angeles Rams made a pair of observe squad strikes, in accordance with the NFL transaction wire, signing cornerback Damarion Williams and releasing linebacker Jamie Sheriff.
Williams, 28, is a 5-foot-10, 183-pound nook who completed his school profession at Houston. The Baltimore Ravens chosen him within the fourth spherical (141st total) of the 2022 NFL Draft. Williams appeared in 14 video games as a rookie, totaling 24 tackles (15 solo), one deal with for loss and two move breakups. He performed in a single recreation in 2023. In 15 profession video games, he has but to start out and has no interceptions or sacks.

Williams has bounced round because the Ravens drafted him within the fourth spherical in 2022. Baltimore waived him in August 2024, and he later landed with the Seahawks and Buccaneers, spending time on each observe squads. Tampa Bay waived him Aug. 30 after which from injured reserve Sept. 3, making the Rams his fourth group.
Sheriff, 26, is a 6-foot-1, 254-pound linebacker who performed at Mississippi Gulf Coast and South Alabama. Sheriff has appeared in three NFL video games: two in 2024, one with Carolina and one with Seattle, and one with the Seahawks in 2025. He has one profession deal with, which got here in 2025, and is a one-time Tremendous Bowl champion.
Sheriff went undrafted in 2024 and signed with Seattle, was claimed by Carolina the day after Seattle waived him, and performed 17 snaps within the Panthers’ Week 1 loss. He returned to the Seahawks’ observe squad that September and stayed with Seattle till he was waived Aug. 30, making the Rams his third crew.
Each strikes are observe squad transactions and don’t have an effect on the Rams’ 53-man roster.
