OU soccer names John Mateer, Owen Heinecke, 7 different Sooners captains for 2026 season

Coming into his second season at OU, Mateer has cemented himself as much more of a pacesetter and is out to show he's gotten higher. He's contemporary off an up and down season through which he broke his thumb and threw for two,885 yards, 14 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.
