The candidacy does not ignore the main obstacle: Klopp has publicly declared that has no intention of returning to the benches in the short term and has rejected numerous offers. But Riquelme turns it into an argument in his favor: “Precisely for this reason we believe that Real Madrid’s challenge is different. Because there are great clubs, but there is only one Real Madrid”.
The statement makes it clear who made the decision and why. Riquelme adds that this decision “it coincides with the sentiment of the thousands of members and Real Madrid fans” with whom he has spoken during the campaign.
