Alfonso Pérez Burrull (Comillas, Cantabria, September 15, 1965) is a former Spanish international referee with an extensive career in the soccer elite. Integrated into the Cantabria Referees Committee, his first steps with the whistle date back to his childhood, where he could already be seen dispensing justice in school recreational games. Its debut in the top category came on September 7, 1997, in the clash between Deportivo de La Coruña and Mallorca, which ended with a 1-1 draw.
For more than a decade he was present in the First Division, achieving prestige and also facing the demands of directing top-level matches. In 2007 he received the “Golden Whistle”, an award that recognized his perseverance and professionalism on the playing fields.
