“In the World Cup I will choose the players I like; I do not support a specific team, but rather the teams with players I appreciate and with whom I have played, and I will be happy to cheer them on,” explained the 55-year-old coach.
Guardiola noted that “If Argentina wins the World Cup, there are players that I know; the same goes for France; as for Portugal, there are players whose understanding has impressed me.”

Regarding the Spanish team led by Luis de la Fuente, which is playing in the World Cup final against Argentina, he shared that “if Rodri demonstrates his level in the midfield alongside Pedri and Lamine Yamal, and is at his best, Spain can make the difference.”
“Lamine Yamal arrived a little behind in terms of his physical condition due to his recent injuries. However, given his age, he has an incredible ability to manage pressure and is capable of deciding a match on his own,” he declared.
Guardiola does not rule out returning to City and admits that “Klopp drove me crazy”
Guardiola, speaking about his future, shared that “I started when I was 37 years old in Barcelona and now I am 56. I need to do new things. Right now I am very happy.”
