Buffalo Hole beat Rockbridge 3-0
Bailey Tribble had 14 kills, 12 digs and three aces to assist Buffalo Hole beat Rockbridge County 25-16, 25-18, 25-13 Sept. 1 in Shenandoah District volleyball.
Rachel Baber added seven kills and Brailyn Inexperienced had 10 digs. Madison Botkin had 5 digs and two aces.
Junior setter Avery Wheeler had seven digs and three aces and likewise added 22 assists, giving her greater than 1,000 in her profession.
Fort Defiance sweeps Waynesboro 3-0
Fort Defiance beat Waynesboro 25-9, 25-11, 25-11 in Shenandoah District volleyball Sept. 1.
Caroline Hanger had 16 kills, seven digs and three aces within the win. Livia Clindedinst added eight kills and Harper Carter had 5 for Fort. Setter Alexis Miller completed the evening with 29 assists. Norah Anderson had 13 digs and three aces whereas Abbi Brilliant had eight aces within the win.
"I assumed they stayed targeted very well," Fort coach Amber Pitsenbarger stated. "That's one factor we talked about, that it doesn’t matter what we get competition-wise, we nonetheless play our sport, nonetheless play excessive depth and simply keep targeted.
