Atlético de Madrid and Nike have presented the first kit for the 2026-27 season, a shirt that pays tribute to the club’s iconic red and white stripes with a new design full of details.
This new uniform combines our tradition with Nike Aero-Fit technology, which improves breathability and freedom of movement on the field, as indicated by the red and white team in its announcement.

“The design recovers the spirit of the stripes that have accompanied Atleti for generations and presents an elegant V-neck in navy blue that matches the edge of the sleeves, pants and socks,” they explain.
Likewise, the inside of the stripes hides a detail loaded with meaning: the trident, one of the most beloved symbols of the red and white fans. Associated with Neptune, guardian of the team’s celebrations and place where the capital’s team celebrates its titles, the entity wanted to have a detail showing it on the new shirt.
