A storm warning delays Spain’s training: “Everyone take cover!”

“Everyone take cover. Let the media take refuge again“, announced the workers of the FIFA when the media arrived at the grass on which Spain was to begin training 12 minutes later. The reason? A thunderstorm alert.

This is not the first time this has happened to the team during the World Cup. It already happened once in Chattanooga. In this case, training will be delayed for a minimum of 30 minutes due to United States climatological protocol. That half hour is the minimum waiting time to be able to resume outdoor activities.

The session, which was to take place at the facilities of the Red Bull New Yorkis the last one before the grand final.
